06年に公開された映画で、VOGUE編集長のアナ・ウィンターがモデルになったことで知られる映画ですね。

ウィキペディアによるとVOGUEは世界18カ国とラテンアメリカで出版されているようです。
ちなみに雑誌の内容というのは、各国である程度は自由に決めることができるらしいです。
それ故に、売り上げなどから各国の編集長の中でも格や序列のようなものができるわけですが・・・。
その中でも重鎮として君臨している1人がアナ・ウィンターらしいですね。

The Vogue editor ultimately decides who gets to go and who's denied entry to the year's most exclusive event. 🦋2.It's business, not pleasure .According to the New York Times, most of the tickets are purchased by fashion companies like Burberry, Chanel and Versace. And it's the designer's chance to take the spotlight as their chosen celebrities showcase their style. 🦋3. The event was started by publicist Eleanor Lambert in 1948.The Met Gala (or Met Ball, either one works) used to be attended by New York's top socialites rather than designers and Hollywood stars. But by the time Wintour got involved in 1995, the event was changing to a more star-studded fashion event. And, as reported by the Times, starting in 2003, celebs were joining Wintour with cohosting duties. 🦋4. Most of the tickets are bought by fashion companies.The fashion companies then invite celebrities. Wintour is, of course, on hand to suggest some fitting Hollywood names if a designer is in need. 🦋5. Anna Wintour is into theatre and since the event is in New York, it's fitting that a lot of the guests are theatre people. 映画を見ると「雑誌の編集長とその周辺って、こんな感じなのかー」と思ってしまいましたが、彼女は特別なんでしょうね。笑
ちなみに原作者は「アナ・ウィンターがモデル説」を否定しているみたいですね。
まあでも「プラダを着た悪魔」と言えばアナ・ウィンターのことが定説なんでしょう。
ちなみにアナ・ウィンター役はメリル・ストリープ。
アナ・ウィンターのアシスタントを務める主演女優はアン・ハサウェイです。
アン・ハサウェイがかわいかったですねー。
「プラダを着た悪魔」ですが、映画初心者の僕でも楽しく見ることができましたよ！
見どころはパッとしない女性だったアン・ハサウェイが、どんどんきれいになっていくところですね。
ファッションに興味のなかったアンが、一気に進化していく出勤シーンがあったのですがあそこが最高でしたね。
ファッション編集部のエピソードなので、登場人物のファッションが良いんですよねー。
だから単純に見た目としても楽しめました。
特にアン・ハサウェイが服に気を使うようになったところの出勤シーンが良かったです！
サイモン・ベイカーの色男っぷりもかっこよかったですね。
僕は男ですけど、それでもビシッとしたファッションをしたくなりましたね。
アン・ハサウェイの見た目が変わって、仕事っぷりも変わってくところが凄く良かったです。
見た目って本当に重要なんですよね。
きれいだけど普通の女の子が、ファッションに気を使うことでお姫様のように変身していくところがね。
うまく描かれていましたよ。（まあ、お姫様とは違うな・・・）
ちなみに男がファッションの勉強をするなら、漫画「王様の仕立て屋」がおすすめです。
間違ってもファッション誌を見てマネするなんかしちゃ駄目ですよ。笑
ファッション誌というのは基本的に欧米ファッションの流行を紹介しているので、日本人が真似して似合うかと言えばそうとは限らないですから。
あんなの普通の男が真似をしてもフフっとなって当然です。
